Aston Martin DB9 to DBS Conversion Package
edo Competition Motorsport GmbH has released the details of its tuning package for the 2005 Aston Martin DB9 that converts the car to an Aston Martin DBS for a Russian customer.
The edo Competition Aston Martin DB9 to DBS conversion package features a new carbon fiber front fascia, new bonnet with venting and carbon fiber rear diffuser.
Inside, the modified Aston Martin DB9 features leather and alcantara trim, carbon shift gate, carbon shift knob and high-end audio system.
The car stands on 21-inch three-piece racing wheels wrapped with 255/30ZR 21 tires at the front and 295/25ZR 21 tires at the rear.
The suspension system has been upgraded edo Competition adjustable sport suspension system. Optional is sport spring set that lowers the DB9 by 30 mm.
The upgrade on the brake system consists of 405 mm discs with 6-piston monobloc calliper and sport brake pads at the front axle and 380 mm discs with 4-piston monobloc calliper and sport brake pads at the rear axle. The DB9 is also fitted with steel braided brake line set.
Performance upgrade includes electronic voting for the control unit, sports air filter, new sport catalysts and a new stainless steel sport exhaust system with throttle control. The volume of the exhaust system can be adjusted via a remote control.
With the upgrades, the edo Competition Auston Martin DB9 produces 550 hp, an increase of 80 hp from the stock.
