2011 Mazda2
Mazda Canada Inc. has unveiled the special edition 2011 Mazda2 known as the “Yozora” Edition for the Canada market. Yozora means “night sky” in Japanese thus the black exterior finish.
The 2011 Mazda2 Yozora Edition also comes with “2” themed decal package on the front driver’s side bumper and fender, raised rear spoiler, short stubby antenna, chromed tailpipe and special edition 16-inch alloy wheels finished in silver and contrasting black wrapped with 195/45R16 Toyo Proxes T1R performance tires.
Included also with the Yozora Edition are “Yozora” tailgate badge, “Yozora Edition” floor mats and 185/55R15 winter tires mounted and balanced on Mazda steel wheels.
The Mazda2 Yozora is based on the entry-level Mazda2 GX that comes with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning and a Convenience package which consists of heated door mirrors, remote keyless entry, jackknife key, steering-wheel mounted cruise control and audio controls, two additional speakers, exterior temperature gauge, trip computer, body-colored door mirrors and handles and interior silver accents.
Only 500 units of the Yozora Edition will be produced which will be available in dealerships in July 2010 with an MSRP of $19,280.
