Intec Racing, V-Leds Shine New Light On Formula Drift
Kent, Washington's Intec Racing and V-LEDS, makers of LED dome, sidemarker, headlamp and other automotive lighting had a coming-out party for its '10 Formula D Nissan 240SX/Silvia. The RHD Nissan was undergoing some test and tune runs at Evergreen Speedway a few weeks prior to the Formula D season opener.
Piloted by Irishman Dean Kearney, the SR20DET-motivated S14 burned through quite a few sets of Falken Azenis tires wrapped around König aluminium. Intec invited friends, customers and press peeps to the track to watch the rubber granulate and see the smoke fly. Of course, Intec's Lawrence Ojas was manning the BBQ, so all was right in the world.
The Intec Racing/V-LEDS Silvia will be a bright spot in the proceedings as the team is slated to compete in the full Formula D schedule.
