Toyota is going to be giving its lineup a refreshed look as per Akio Toyoda’s desire to make the company’s vehicles more emotionally appealing. The new look will be widely applied to make the model range appear more consistent, and will serve to make the smaller models appear bigger and not have the the bigger models appear smaller. Despite the global application of the new design, there will be considerations for regionalized markets; units built for China for example, will have more chrome than those shipped elsewhere in keeping with regional demands.

We can also expect to see interior quality to rise, as Toyota makes a strong attempt to appeal to European consumers, who are traditionally much more demanding than others. What tends to work in Europe also does so elsewhere.
