GM has unveiled the first details and images of the Opel/Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept which is based on the Astra will make its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show on September 30.

The GTC Paris Concept is measured at 4.46 m long and able to accommodate 5 people and according to Opel/Vauxhall, the production version of the GTC will not stray far from the concept.

The Opel GTC Paris Concept features slim, eagle-eye shaped headlamps, LED running lights with chrome surrounds, trapezoidal grille with chrome emblem bar, LED taillights and 21-inch wheels.

The concept also comes with an electronic limited slip differential and an updated version of Vauxhall’s FlexRide adaptive damping system.

The GTC Paris Concept is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with direct petrol injection engine with Start/Stop technology mated to a six-speed manual gearbox to provide high levels of performance and fuel efficiency.
