KTM crazy-fast X-Bow models
According to recent reports spewing straight out of Italy, KTM is set to reveal new versions of its look hard, go even harder, X-Bow sportscar. It comes as promising news for the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, who was apparently putting the skids on its four-wheeled machines since the economic downturn.
If you thought 0-100 in under four seconds was fairly rapid, you’d be right, but KTM will still be pumping up power from the standard car’s 237 horsepower to something a notch over 300 for the new R model, which should put the X-Bow into the 3.0-second-flat range. With acceleration like that, it’s only motorbikes that could match you off the line and even then it’s a maybe.
If you don’t need to scare the hell out of your mates with that type of acceleration then KTM is also said to be working on a T model. Which apparently stands for Touring, and the touring X-Bow will come with modern luxuries like an actual windshield. Whatever way you look at it the KTM X-Bow is one of the most awesome automotive toys ever created.
