MKB Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series

MKB, Mercedes-Benz tuner from Germany, has unveiled its new tuning package known as P 1000 for the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 Black Series that increases the power from 670 PS to 1,015 PS.

The MKB Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series is powered by a 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine which is fitted with P 1000 package which consists of new air intakes, turbo charger system, new cooling system, MKB camshafts and a reprogrammed ECU.

The automatic gearbox was also modified to cater the increased engine torque. To reach different end speeds, the SL 65 is fitted with MKB LSD rear axles.

With the increase of power, the MKB SL 65 AMG Black Series now able to produce 1,015 PS and a electronically limited torque of 1,300 Nm.

The total cost of the engine conversion is €116,800 in Germany including 19% VAT.
